apple logo flash then black, backlit screen

Ok so, itried fixing a water damaged iphone 5s today and did the whole alcohol thing. so i put the motherboard in and tried turning it on... nothing. so i plug it in then i get an apple logo for about half a second then it switches to a black backlit screen and stays there. maybe i didnt remove all the corosion and need to clean it more? by the way i did plug it and itunes recognizes it and i restore it... i get an error code 3194. right now i am stuck and have no clue what to do because i spent a lot of money for the parts. I know the parts are 100% working because i tested them on a different motherboard. also lastly my phone doesnt turn on unless its plugged in.

Chosen Solution

DFU Mode

1. Plug your device into your computer.

2. Turn off the device.

3. Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.

4. Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds.

5. Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button.

6. Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode

Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present.

Restore the phone :)

I'm having the same problem. Can't find any information that's actually useful. I did find out though that the iPhone has been opened before given that it had a sticker inside it which read 'happytel' I'm guessing this one may have been repaired for water damage. It's difficult to find solutions for these things. I'm going to try exchanging parts with another iPhone I have but don't have much hope.
