What is the pram?
I have been reading some of the answers from this website. I read a reference to the PRAM. I wondered if someone could tell me what the PRAM is?

According to wikipedia:
"Parameter RAM, a small amount of non-volatile random access memory (NVRAM) used on Apple Macintosh machines to store configuration information"

+ agreed. It hold basic info like the date and time and printer settings, etc.
