Metal bracket on screen assembly to hold the plate is loose

The right metal bracket on the display assembly that holds the back plate is loose on the new (supposedly original) screen I bought. More of it should be between the glass and the black border around it. When I tried to close the device, it couldn't because of that bracket. Can I fix it or should I contact the seller to get a new one?

It appears to be non repairable. I checked screen that I have and the metal bracket is nearly integrated with the plastic border. I would probably replace the border with the one from the old screen, but that may not be the best option. Especially considering you would have to get some glue to hold it to the glass. You could try clipping the small tabs of the bracket off, but that would render it unreturnable. I believe your best option would be to contact the seller and get a replacement.
