Is the eDP cable 1-lane or 2-lane?

I'm going to replace the display with a higher resolution one, which has the same power signature and connector locations, but the higher resolution also demands a 2-lane eDP connector. I know that the 13.3" Chromebook 2 uses a 2-lane eDP connector since it's 1920x1080. I'm hoping that Samsung used the same connector on both machines to make things easier.

It appears the the 1-port and 2-port connectors use the same 30-pin pinout (see slide #9) :

However, I read in a Lenovo forum of a guy trying to put a FullHD panel in a 1366x768 laptop, a U430. He tried 9 different cables from many different FullHD thinkpads and eventually settled on a U530 connector because that device came with a FullHD screen.

That guy is me. I'm still rocking the 1080p AUO panel on my U430p. But now I'm looking to power a 4k display with the same HD4400. The HDMI out is glitching, and I'm trying to see if I can use a eDP to DP cable to make it work.

A 1920x1080 connector MUST be 2-lane (or 4-lane, but unlikely). A 1-lane eDP connector maxes out at 1600x900, there are no full-HD 1-lane connectors.

any idea where to find 2 lane replacements? I'm looking up my part number and finding nothing. All the screen sellers that I've seen online don't carry eDP cables.
