Greenish screen and hue
My sony Xperia z1 screen is showing greenish tint and sometimes pictures have weird green tints and hues. Why?

Has the phone been dropped before or screen replaced? What is the history of this phone? That sounds like bad contact on the screen (LCD) cable.

yes the screen has been replaced recently. Is it too hard to replace the cable or fix it?
I ended up putting another screen on because I concluded the LCD was no good.
i really can't buy another screen because this would make it the 4th time i'm changing the screen. It is generally a very good phone but the screen is whack!
From my experience you need to take your time and be careful when putting in Sony Xperia Z series screens compared to iPhone screens as they don't use screen frames glued (or adhesive) together like the iPhone 4 and newer.
Cracked a Sony Xperia Screen once because there was a bit of debris like fine sand grain behind the glass when i tried to put it on. If i had cleaned it, it wouldn't of happened.
