Parameters Incorrect message while trying to retrieve files.

Ok, so I'm trying to recover files from a crashed drive on Windows. When I try to access the drive's contents, I get an error message stating that The drive cant be opened because the parameters are incorrect. How can I resolve this? Can I still Clone the drive? Any other way around this? Another thing i might add; I can see the drive and access the files from Snow Leopard. Can I copy these files with snow leopard?

I Found that by enabling SMB file sharing under system preferences I was able to not only see the Crashed HD, but I was able to then transfer all important data to my desktop and eventually to an external.
