I want to replace the display if is the only way to get rid of the wide black line in the middle. But the model is A1248/2.0 core 2 duo- macbook 2008 and I don't find displays under this model? Can I use the same display from the macbook pro 13".
I am very sure about the model see pic also I put a pic of the display. But this machine is only a MacBook (nothing Pro)

Mario, going by your images that number is A1278 not A1248. Here are the guides to work on your computer. You must identify your computer properly to get the right part. You can do that by either using your serial number or check on this link

Could because there is no A1248 MacBook Pro machine. The A1248 is an iPhone. Get some one with better eyes to read the number.
