Why my Samsung Galaxy S4 Not Working

Hey Guys.

My Samsung Galaxy s4 died the other day after it took a fall from a good height onto a concrete floor which broke the screen completely and turned off now it doesn't turn on and doesn't even show the led when charging but does get a bit warm when on charge and isn't recognized when plugged into a computer.

Hopefully someone knows if it possible to fix and if it's even worth fixing if not will be smashed up.

Thanks

Hi Tom there is always chance the phone to be saved. But you will need parts to test the phone so you know what went wrong. You will need working LCD to see if the phone will turn on. If not turning on after LCD replacement you will need new battery to check if the battery is the problem. They could be some internal damage but you need to check. It is hard to say if the phone will survive but it is good to try.

Hi thanks you for the advice i can see where your coming from. I would love to be able to try but unfortunately i really don't have £60 to drop into a phone that may or may not work after repairs. Just want to know if there something i can do to make sure it works before repairs so i don't waste money.

Thanks Tho

I can't think of anything that you may do to see if it is going to work. If i have it I may check with power supply to see if there is life into it, but that's because I am working with phones and i have the equipment. For you personally I don't know if there is way to check. Sorry
