Unit does not start

The unit has been sitting for 6 years. I cleaned carb--has great spark and 60psi compression. Put in Fresh Fuel-Has enough oil, Still does not start--any ideas 1986 Suzuki FA50

Update

Not even a hint of starting. However when the spark plug is removed we get a puff of air/compression from cylinder. Very little gas if any on spark plug no matter how many times you kick start it.

Sounds like you have carb problems, or a reed valve problem. First things first, unplug the fuel line and make sure the petcock is working. Next clean the carb, make sure all channels and passages are clean, finally check the reed valve condition.
