ocheatwood, what you are saying is that your door is locked and you cannot open it? Which door? You cannot open it from the inside? Give us more information about what make and model as well as what happened to your door.

to remove the panel follow the instruction in the video you will need to do it with the door closed and it will be tight but can be done

Once your done you'll need to figure out which is the locking mechanism There is usually a release toggle on the the edges of the door catch to release the door Hope this helps
