Hi,

You could always ask your wife, girlfriend or anybody else you know for that matter, who uses an acetone based nail polish remover to let you have some. It works for superglue removal so other adhesives might possibly react the same way.

Be aware though, that not all nail polish removers have acetone in them.

Likely not workable, besides it will leave an oily film making it hard to apply new adhesive.

What type of shaving cream do you use I've never heard of this but its got my interest. Like Dan mentioned it will probably leave a film behind which you could clean with iso alcohol 95% or better, but then that will also work to remove the glue . If you have something in shaving cream that doesn't have a lubricant in it then that might work but then it would make an awful shaving cream . Whatever you use to clean the screen needs to be completely gone when done so that the new glue will adhere to the screen. Let me know how it turns out for you . Just curious
