computer stopped working again after replacing hard drive cable

Replacedhard drive cable. Computer worked fine for a few days but now it is not working again. Screen comes up with folder in center of screen with ? on it.

50% of the time a bad HD/IR cable will destroy the hard drive, in my experience.
