Panic cpu 0 caller unable to find driver for this platform :1407

Panic cpu 0 caller unable to find driver for this platform ...IOPlatformExpoert.cpp: 1389 or 1407

Machine : MacBook (13-inch, Early 2009)

- one day all of a sudden got Ɵ ( Cancel sign ) on screen

- try to restore from old disk(10.5) and new 10.6.3, no success

- finally remove HDD and format on windows machine.

- able to view HDD and format from windows PC

- now try to restore from CD and new CD 10.6.3

- every time gets following error

- try all press option+ R + P +cmd but same.

- with option or c get icon folder with question mark.

Please help me to solve issue thanks

It's most likely the format for one. Did or can you format GUID Mac OS extended on a PC? Will the machine boot from the 10.6.3 (it is a retail disk, right. Not a grey machine specific disk).

Thanks for quick response 1. I formatted using "macdrive pro quick start" as HSF+ format. 2. I tried this but won't able to view hdd on window . 3. not sure how to format GUID Mac OS extended on a PC, I will try to find any options. 4. I have 10.5 restore CD (grey ) and 10.6 new bought from Apple. 5. shows CD booting option after press "option" but both eject after sometime. and not able to view HDD at booting option. I am not frequent mac users. Thanks again.
