PF is power failure error meaning electricity has been interrupted to the machine.

An electrical interruption of any type can cause a PF error code.

Try this:

Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the PF in the display.

Try to start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button.

Reset the breaker box, unplug the machine for 5 minutes and make sure the machine is securely plugged in afterwards.

My Kenmore washer will wash for awhile and then cut off. It will show "PF". I can get it to start up again and it will wash for a few minutes and then cut off. If I can ever get it to the spin cycle it doesn't stop until it is finished.

Carol get in and check your wiring and solder connections with a multimeter.

you measure voltage with a multimeter .... you solder with a soldering iron .... please do not try to solder with a multimeter carol this will not go well ....

Issue is at some point in the cycle its stopping and flashing PF. Not every time, but frequently.

Most electronics are susceptible to problems when exposed to water. Have you considered the humidity may be high in your laundry area due to the dryer and thus affecting the board in your machine.

I run a dehumidifier in my Laundry room to hopefully prolong the life of my electronics in my washer/dryer.
