I might have ripped my cable

I might have Ripped a Cable, im not sure.

In the first Photo you can clearly see its ripped a little, in the second Photo it isn't that clear but i hope you can see it well enough.

To my question. Whats the Purpose of that cable? Should i replace it or ist it fine? Could i continue repairing my phone or should i stop?

This is the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Signal Flex. You may experience weak, or no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signal if this piece is torn or broken.
