iPhone 5C has error 1

I have an Iphone 5C with error 1. I have gathered from reading this site that it seems to be an issue with the baseband chip. Does anyone have knowledge about this repair and the reflowing of the baseband chip? Has anyone had any luck with this repair? I am willing to solder or attempt it, as the phone is a gimme from someone who does not want it back.

Options

Generally Restore Error 1 = Dead = Don't waste anymore time. Believe me i have tried.

However .. do try different computers, cables and make sure its in DFU mode before you restore (google enter DFU mode).
