When turned on remains black and beeps three times
When started my MacBook Pro remains dark and gives repeated 3 beeps

That's a RAM issue. First try reseating the RAM. Next insert just one stick and try it both slots to test both the RAM and the slot. Do it with the other stick. Your issue should now be solved or correctly diagnosed.
