Why wont my iPhone 5s connect to computer

Hi. my iPhone 5s wont connect to computer but my other iPhone will. Could this be a hardware issue?

jen, sure it could be. Check the lightning connector as well as the cable. You did not tell us if you have any other issues with the phone and if it has ever worked on your computer. Those are important to know.
