iPhone home button not work

Why does my iPhone home button not work? I dropped phone in water. Everything else seems fine.

I just disassembled and reassembled my iphone and everything is back to normal ...

i had the same problem with my iPhone 3gs... try taking the iPhone apart and see if theres anything unusual with the home button... also try taking it apart and putting back again... Also try putting pressure on the two spaces right next to the home button (the two black spaces).... good luck
