I want to upgrade my ssd but I need to know what type of ssd I need to buy. Frys usually has them on sale

What kind of computer or device are you putting it in?

Oh I see your device is a MacBook Pro retina! Officially, the Retina models SSDs are not upgradeable -- you're supposed to just be able to choose the permanent size when you buy the computer, but Other World Computing (is the only one who) came up with a way to upgrade them (they manufacture and sell them):
