Recently, while trying to replace my screen and LCD, I lost the four screws needed to hold down the metal shield that covers the 3 flex cables. I tried putting the phone back together without the shield on, but the screen has these vertical lines on it now. If I had the shield on could it fix the screen?

The lines are due to the LCD flex not being snapped down all the way or the LCD is now damaged. I would turn OFF the iPhone, open it and connect the flex connectors properly.
