Discharging when tablet is on

Hello,

i have a problem with my tablet. When the tablet its on and it is on the charger it is discharging. The tablet can be charged only when it is off.

What should i do?

Hi,

The problem could be that your charger is probably faulty and is not able to supply enough power to supply both the tablet running and charging the battery at the same time.

A replacement power adapter is easily obtainable on Ebay (under $US10)

Indeed jayeff, 500mA-700mA charges not provide enough power to work your tab properly and take longtime to charge your battery. buy 5V 2A or 3A charger and your fault will be solved

I followed this, and the tablet I am using still discharges with a new charger. The charger is the same as the old one, brand, power output, etc. Could this mean it could be a hardware issue in the tablet, i.e. a bad connection for the charger?
