iPhone 3G Cable no 6

Hi!

Just replaced the battery on my iPhone 3G. But when I reassembled it I could not get cable no 6 back again. I finally decided to assemble the iPhone without this cable to see what would happen. But so far I cant find any problems with the phone?

I do have problems with WiFi thou, cant find my network. But I had this problem even before dissembling the phone..

Can anyone tell me what this cable is suppose to do?

Cable 6 is for the GPS antenna.

After looking through the Guides, cable 6 is the GPS Antenna. You may notice a difference in your iPhone being able to locate you.
