I'm trying to remove and transfer the front camera assembly on my broken screen to the new screen and the repair guide that comes up for the United States version repair guide, the instructions in the steps are in Chinese. Where do I find the US/English version?
All references to this type of repair in all the guides come up in Chinese.

whitlock6, on the device page scroll all the way down. you should see a select language button. Make sure that it is set for English (or the language of your choice). you should get to this guide

Tried that. The guide is the U.S. Translation. Steps 1-16 are in English and steps 22 and so on are in English. It's just steps 17-21 that are suddenly in Chinese. Tried using the alternate unverified versions but the same thing. Also tried to use a translator app to convert the Chinese to English but the translation was incomplete and hard to understand.
Not my first repair, but this kind of issue with a repair guide is definitely a first for me.

Definitely weird. Forwarded the issue to the ifixit team. Hopefully they find a fix pretty quick.
