Do I need a whole LCD replacement if the glass cracked.

I have my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen broken. But it still can works. However, when I take it to the repair shop, the man told me that I need to replace the whole LCD. But the price is quite expensive. Do I have to replace the whole one or if there are other ways to fix it?

He probably just doesn't want to go through the hassle of separating the digitizer from the lcd. Or maybe even can't, for another reason. It is possible. But, not everybody can do it. If your hard up for money, search out another shop, in your area. But, be careful. Not everybody does good work, it could be better just to pay for the whole assembly

i agree with iMedic.First find another repair shop to do your job because nowadays replacing digitizer is a "routine surgery".I've already replaced 2 on my own with ebay's pack and works just fine.
