Screen Error after Display Assembly replacement

I replaced an IPhone 6 display assembly with the Ifixit display assembly this evening. The install went smooth but when I powered on the phone I have a half inch long band of thick grey lines near the top of the screen and 2 or 3 lines that run the length of the screen near the center.

The home button works but the touch screen is not responsive, I can't slide to power down or input my security code. I disconnected and reconnected the display ribbons but nothing changed. Is it the display assembly or an issue with the ribbon connectors?

This can happen during display assembly changes. You could try disconnecting the display assembly, disconnecting the battery, reconnecting the battery, then reconnecting the display assembly. Be careful with those display assembly connectors. Their finicky, and can get easily damaged

These are the guides i followed, how can i tell if a connector is bad, they all look fine to the naked eye and the ribbons are all smooth

I reset everything and the touch screen is 100% but the very top 1cm of the screen has a very faint row of 2mm thick grey lines. It almost looks like its part of the background

Did you try cycling the battery, like I originally said?

Load a white screen via safari to make sure it is not apart of the background. Check all connections again, if it still continues likely defective part.
