Can you help me repaint my MacBook?

Hi,

Im interested in taking apart my macbook (the newest white unibody one) apart and painting it, in a similar way to this article:

http://geektechnique.org/projectlab/203/...

Im not worried about the painting aspect of the plastic, just the actual teardown of the mac and getting the shell itself free from the components and keyboard to paint.

Would anybody be able to pick apart the teardown for me and tell me which parts I would need to follow, and which parts I dont? For example would I have to take out the components?

The link for your teardown is here:

The part Im most worried about is taking the screen off of the base.

Thanks for any help!

Jeremy

Start with the top cover

to ensure you have a "transparent" MacBook. If you are painting the entire case you'll need to remove everything from the inside. BE SURE TO MARK YOUR SCREWS, they are different lengths and you'll damage the case if you put "long" ones in "short" holes.
