3 Why does my computer freeze?
I use my laptop normally but it will freeze at random times.

If the computer has frozen, a few components may be faulty or the device may have overheated. The troubleshooting page covers some of these problems. Replacement depends on which component is faulty. The laptop could have overheated, which means that the fan may be malfunctioning. The RAM could also be failing; you can use this guide to replace it.
