Chosen Solution

Standard Hard Drive: 128 GB, 256 GB SSD Int. HD Interface: Proprietary* (PCIe 2.0 x4)

Details: The MF839LL/A configuration has 128 GB of flash storage and the MF840LL/A configuration has 256 GB of flash storage. Neither can be configured with additional storage at the time of purchase.

*Apple does not intend for one to upgrade the storage after purchase, but it is quite possible. As documented by OWC, this model has a PCIe-based SSD (PCIe 2.0 x4 interface).

So far I have not found this claim by OWC to be factual yet: http://blog.macsales.com/29072-owc-tears...
