Why is my battery life bad? Why does my battery not charge?

My battery doesn't last as long as it used to. My battery only lasts a fraction of what it is supposed to and at times it doesn't even charge. Can someone please help me figure out what may exactly be causing this issue?

Your battery is probably damage. In this case, you should go and buy a new one. Also, you will need to check if it correctly installed. In other cases, the fault may be of the charger. If the charger is not working correctly or if it’s broken it won’t charge correctly the battery. Refer to the Troubleshooting Page at www.ifixit.com/Wiki/HTC_Evo_3D_Troubleshooting for more details in order to fix this issue.
