fail to vertically lift

Helicopter fails to lift off vertically. Will lift approximately 1" at full throttle and no more.

Heli is fully charged and batteries are brand new in transmitter. Any recommendations for fixing.

Replace the main rotors. If they've been banged up enough, the lift normally generated will be greatly reduced.

Similar problem with our brand new s107g. Will not liftoff, and moving the directional control to the right results in visibly greatly diminished power, sounding about half speed of full throttle. We had an S107g a few years ago, it flew fine regardless of any crashes, over the course of a couple years. Thoughts?

The diminished power is normal for coaxial rotored helis. In order to turn, one of the two counter-rotating rotors must slow down in order to generate a net torque, or turning force. That’s also why coax helis tend to drift up or down while turning.

It sounds like the heli is not getting enough power. Either the battery is not supplying enough, or the motor is possibly worn. Try cleaning all the gears.
