I contacted GE and they had no recommendation - see a service person!! Said glue might get hot. (Not satisfactory customer support for me!!) My service cotract says it's cosmetic and can't support - tried, but no glue recommendation - reffered me to GE. Does anyone know of a 'rubber' glue so the panel can be removed for access to the microswitches?

I used Scott's double-sided tape. The cover is not flush against the pushbuttons but it works much better than having it fall off several times a day.

I used a thin line of Gorilla Glue. Gently pulled back the panel 1/2 inch or so, cleaned edges with a thin sponge. Left it wet (that's how Gorilla Glue works). Used a q-tip to put the glue on. Taped it real tight with electrical tape long enough for the glue to cure. Removed the tape 24 hours later, works like a charm.
