Keyboard and trackpad do not work after login

My MacBook Air has been operating fine lately no drops or falls or water damage (I think though I'm sure the people at the Apple Store will insist I've voided my warrenty if I go in).

Everything works great on startup a the trackpad works and I can type in my password.... until I login. Then the trackpad and keyboard become unresponsive and I get prompts to connect wireless keyboard.

Unsure of what to do, I tried safe mode and restarting it same problem

Try starting up in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key on startup. Sounds like a virus to me or a startup item like DropBox.

I did this and it loaded to the home screen but I couldn't move the tracker or type to enter my password in safe mode on the login screen like I normally can.

The Bluetooth keyboard setup also popped up again.

Try using a wired keyboard. Please give us the last four figures of your serial number and date of purchase.
