my screen cracked so i running my iMac with dell S2340l monitor connected with HDMI adaptor through mini port. too bad the overall respond are dropped very very much....

I assume the screen cracked when the system was knocked over.
If that was the case it sounds like you also killed the hard drive. At this point I would strongly recommend you stop using your system and make a backup of anything important before the system fully dies.
The next issue is what is your plans here? To fix the system or replace?

Hi Dan, Thanks for the reply. I think the problem not come from hdd & ram bcos i did replaced both of it but the slow respond problem remain....
