Loader falling a part.

I have a brass floor lamp and the loader in the base has broken up, it is not metal or plastic, it seems to be made of asbestos or material like that with a plastic material covering it. Label on loader is "Articulo #219560. It weighs more than a pound. Is a replacement part available.
