I was updating Dragon Mania Legends and the download progression says "pending" and it's been like that for 5 days, also power button refuses to shut off the phone but works by holding the button down to turn off the phone, battery indicator froze, and every time when i connected it to my computer, it refuses to let the computer recognize the phone. and the phone sometimes froze. Is there a way to fix this?

That happened on various (different) phones of mine through my life.
Consider doing a factory-reset state formatting, this could solve not only this issue, but make your phone faster (it "refreshes" the phone), but take precaution with your data (remove the SD card!) before that and copy all your contacts to your email provider account (meaning, do not have only one copy of the contact, as the formatting will erase your personal data on the phone), write them on an office excel sheet or paper if necessary. Also, this would erase all your downloaded and installed apps that didn't come on-default with your phone.

Have you removed the battery? I am assuming you probably have, but removing the battery and the putting it back in normally repairs those kind of issues.
