I have grey horizontal lines halfway up my phone?

I have grey horizontal lines covering more than half my phone It sometimes will just randomly turn black with vertical lines throughout and flickers until it goes back to just being grey horizontal lines. I have asked so many professionals and they do not know what has happened. I do drop my phone a lot, is that a factor?? Does anybody know what is wrong exactly and if/how I can fix it?

your display sounds like its dead. replacing it should get you going again.
