Can I upgrade the RAM?

My Late 2010 11" Macbook Air cannot accept higher than OSX 10.6.8 because the RAM is only 2 GB . Any options ?

No, you can't upgrade the RAM.

My 2010 MacBook Air has 2 GB of RAM and runs OS X Yosemite just fine, there may be other issues preventing install.

If you review this series MacBookAir3,1 is listed as being able to support the latest OS.

You may need to look at your drives free space as that could be your problem. You first should make a full backup and then remove as much as you can of your docs, music or vids. I would also recommend clearing the Log & cache files that build up over time. There are a few utilities that can help you here. Don't forget to check the drive using Disk Utilities' permission & disk repair options once you have booted up from an external disk or recovery partition.
