Identify damaged component possibly related to rear camera

Hi All,

I have a recently water damaged iPhone 5s which I have managed to revive with the exceptions of touch ID, flash and rear camera (front camera is fine). I've noticed some damage to a chip near to the front camera connector and was wondering if it may be the culprit. Can anyone identify the chip and what its function might be please?

I suspect the touch ID is a lost cause.

Makka, that is U16 which is the compass. It is a AKC8963 BGA IC.

Thank you kindly. I've been able to successfully run the compass calibration and the gyros seem to be working. I would have though that IC would be toast with the corner missing, but maybe its still ok?

Would you mind pointing me to the rear camera circuitry? I've not had any luck with my Googling around.

Thanks again for your help!
