My power supply needs to be replaced

Hi I have a 2008 Imac 24" 2.8ghz that has a bad power supply. The model and serial numbers that are normally on the bottom of the computer stand are not there. This leaves me with no clue what the emc number is. The numbers on my power supply are: 614-0405. I have been having difficulties with trying to locate a new power supply. Is there an alternate power supply that can be used in my iMac? My old power supply is a 240 w. I really could use some help!!!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Can you tell from the rest of the specs? Review both of these: iMac 24" 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo (Early 2008) or iMac 24" 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo Extreme (Early 2008) Are you sure on the year and the MHz if you are these are the only two it could be.
