My microwave starts as soon as I shut the door,
My microwave (GE hvm1540dn1bb) starts as soon as I shut the door, even with the control panel removed. What would cause that?

Main Control Board
How it Works:
If the microwave turns itself on, there may be a problem with the touch pad buttons touching intermittently. If the the touch pad is working okay, the main control board is defective and will need to be replaced.

The microwave turns on even with the touch pad and control board removed.
That one is over my head. Since these are so dangerous to work on, it might be time to chunk this one. One nice thing is that you can get parts for it here: http://www.partselect.com/Models/HVM1540...
