Static in headphone port since the first day of use.

My headphone jack has not worked since day one, but I ignored the problem and didn't bug apple about it. Now my poor mac baby is getting a little old and worn so i've been fixing it up, while i'm at it I figure I might as well fix the headphone port, is this possible, can it be replaced? and how would i go about doing this?

Thank you for your time, i'm looking forward to an answer. :3

the port is soldered to the logicboard - replacing is not possible without the proper tools and of course the replacement part - but that is the point where the trouble begins, it's not a standard part that you can buy anywhere.
