Bottom microphone stops working after first repair

Hi everyone.

I'm suffering from this problem for several months and still have not found a solution. After first time I tried to repair my phone (I wanted to replace a battery), something wrong happened to a bottom microphone. I replaced headphone jack/mic/lightning connector, but this still did not solve the problem. Some people say that something might happen to a part of the logic board which is responsible for the microphone.

Are there anyone who has/had the same problem and somehow found a solution? I'd be very grateful if you share your knowledge about it.

Yes it sounds like you may have damaged the connector on the board or a component near that area. Try looking closely and see if you can notice anything.

Some components to the left hand side of the where the dock connector goes are responsible for the mic so would look closely in that area. See if you notice any that have been damaged or knocked off.

You mean components between headphone jack and lightning connector? If so, I've completely replaced that parts.

Sorry I mean the small components actually soldered onto the circuit board. If you check where you would plug in the replacement dock connector flex for any that might have been damaged or knocked off. You might have to lift off the black tape that covers them to see properly.

Just added an image. You want to check in the area under the black tape where I have put the circle.
