Mic and Home Button do not work after screen replacement

I changed my iPhone 5s screen and the battery. When turned on the phone and I test that the phone works right, I realized that the mic and the home button didn't work. What should i do? Thank you

Hi David,

Since both the microphone and home button are not working, this would point me to believe that the charge dock connector came loose will the phone was being worked on. Microphone and home button both run through the charge dock flex. Open the phone back up and check to see if the connector directly above the battery connector is plugged in or not, try to reseat the connector. If it is plugged in correctly and is still not working, then it may need a new charge dock flex and/or a home button cable. Hope this helps.

The Mic & Home Button connector are both part of the dock connector flex. Trying unplugging the dock connector flex (located right above the battery connector) and plug it back it. If that doesn't fix the problem you may need a new dock connector flex cable.
