ram connector defective on logic board

My MacBook Pro late 2011 beeps 3 times and reboots as soon as I power it.

I found then the memory slot connector on logic board ( top one ) is defective.

I try differents memory sticks but same problem.

My question is:

Does this could be fix ? and how ?

or the entire logic board have to be replaced ??

Sadly the socket is not replaceable.

Your choices are to max out the one slot with largest the system will support. The other option here is replacing the logic board.

Before you replace the logic board make sure the bottom cover spacers are still in good shape otherwise you could end up with a bad socket again from the pressure from the bottom cover.
