how do i fix display malfunction on my cinema monitor. Monitor display just go black.

Using a flashlight aim it at the screen at a sharp angle with the display on and connected to your Mac you should see the faint image of your desktop and the icons on it. If you do then you know the backlight services need repairs. If you don't see anything then you have a bigger problem.
Here is the teardown of the newer Apple Thunderbolt Display. Yours is very similar to it. It's likely the Supertex HV9982 3-channel switch-mode LED driver IC is bad.
