Serial to USB port adapter for Windows side of Mac

My customer has a Bendix King GPS version 17 that he would like to use on the Windows partition of his MacBook. I though some of you flyers might be able to help on this one. On the Windows side I really know nothing. Any suggestions?

i think you mean a usb2serial converter (to connect a device with a rs232 port to a computer with a usb port) - right?

i simply would buy one of those cables or small converters - building it isn't useful if you don't have the drivers for that.

i use one of those things to "play" with sattelite receivers ;-)

it's simple under windows, instal the driver, restart, connect the converter and use the device.

oh yeah nick - you are the skilled one, you have the imaginary drivers for a hardware that you don't even know. here is a schematic of the converter - so please - build it und use your drivers. nobody is picking on you - but we should not give illegal advises.
