I recently got an iphone 4 from a family member and the back glass is broken, I'm going to replace it with a colored back from Amazon the carrier is sprint and the model number on it says A1387 but I figured out that's not an iphone 4 model number so I'm wondering what model number I have so I can buy the screen replacements

Hey donnavan, I've edited your post because your model number indicates that you have an iPhone 4S. Also, CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM (Global System for Mobiles) are shorthand for the two major radio systems used in cell phones. Both acronyms tend to group together a bunch of technologies run by the same entities. More info here. In iPhones, the CDMA is usually a Verizon carrier.

But I know my iPhones not an iPhone 4S because it doesn't have Siri
donnavan A1387 is definitely a 4S. Now there is always the possibility someone "hacked" a 4S back into a 4 by removing some of the clips etc. Ultimately, you will have to take the back off and take a look at the location of the clips. Post an image so we can see what you got
