iPhone 5s backlight as a standalone light source

For starters, thanks for existing :D

I would like to use the backlight from the iPhone 5s as a light source for a project —unrelated to iPhone repairs.

Could you recommend a circuit/ power config that would work to safely light it up?

are you talking about the backlight line on the screen assembly or the logicboard?

I'm guessing it's the backlight on the screen assembly. —I apologize for my lack of familiarity with the components ...mainly looking to use the panel that shines through the LCD as a light.
