Help me find a resistor resistance R7260 and C7260

Hi people!

I need to replace R7260 and C7260 on a 820-3115B logic board.

Problem is that I cant find the resistance for the R7260. Posting a photo.

it only says 0, 5% 1/16W 402 now I know that buy how many ohms?

Can someone help me find the correct resistor.

Fady, that is a 0-ohm resistor. 0 ohm resistors are used as test points, debugging and current measurement. Sometimes they are used as factory switches, when the same logic board can be equipped in several variants. Sometimes they are even used as fuses.

I like this post, I can feel your brain working here through my screen! What has led you to replacing these?

This 0 ohm resistor is there to keep the trace from blowing on this feedback line. If only it were present on PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT_FB.

If you're impatient like me, and want to see if there are other issues with your board while you are waiting for your resistor to arrive, apply 5v to C4696. Wire up the red wire(5v) from a molex connector of a PC power supply to C4696, and the black ground wire to a screwhole on the board, and attempt to turn it on by plugging in the magsafe. If it turns on, you at least know you have no other issues and you're good to go.
